New Purchase: Sabit

Another new piece from Sabit  thats reversible. Yea i know I odeed on new clothing.. fcuk it it’s what I do. the gold accent and red and black flannel is what brings this jacket to life. the neck wind protection area is crazy and just fits wonderful.

At some point we get to an age that reversible items are just corny and I believe it’s the fact that many brands just don’t put the effort they need to on both sides of a piece. Well Sabit, has some amazing pieces that are reversible. Here are two of my recent purchases.

The outerwear piece below is down fill, one side grey flannel the other side denim. both sides are laced with leather trim and best of all is the coyote fur hood that attaches to either side by a zipper.

Absolutely love the brands tees. The 2 xxl fits as close to perfect as you get. The neck I notice is a lil flimsy, but we will see after the first wear.

Gshock/Chris Hostos – A gift for me…

So being who i am.. I just hate jumping the bandwagon, but really been wanting a day to day bang up watch.

So i have totally been complaining on how i want a gshock but everyone has one.. so i wanted to have tykomoon dress one up for me. Just havent come around to it. I havent even went out and purchased a g-shock.

So in recent weeks I was talking to a jeweler and he totally got me when he showed me the casing in 14kt gold and diamonds… i went home talking about it like you wouldn’t believe.

I just received a package.. and in was a watch and a note that read.

Now thats love! Pretty dope too white on white solar 6900. I can’t wait for the custom facing now.. stay tuned for the updates..

Mr. Sabit and I.. at trunksale..

Purchased some awesome things over the weekend by sabit which I will be posting later tonight. (was actually the wifey that purchased it for me for our 1 year anniversary coming up).

Best of all was the welcoming experience and humbleness of Mr. Shoichi and the Sabit team and actually finally getting to meet them all.

Breaking news: Earthquake strikes Venezuela

An earthquake with preliminary magnitude of 5.7 struck eastern Venezuela on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The quake was centered about 17 miles from Carupano, Venezuela, and about 7 miles underground, the geological survey said.

Personal thought on Haiti’s aftermath…

Good day all.

First and foremost, I would like to apologize for not taking the matter as serious as it is/was, when i first heard about it (even if in the privacy of my own home).

 My humbled heart goes out to everyone affected by the earthquake in Haiti, friends, family and even associates, directly and indirectly.

As the death toll rises and some after shocks being measured at 4.5,we can only imagine that the worst is yet to come.

My prayers are with you. My donation has been sent in addition to hopeful packages this weekend.

Take this into consideration: After listening to the news last night 7 million has been raised by phone text messages. Thats just about 1.5 million people if they donated 5 bucks @ one text. I know there have been other resources of donating, so just hear me out.

As of Jul 2008, 304 million were registered in usa.. At 1 dollar each… We have potential to send 304 million to Haiti.. think about it.

Leading up to this new year, i continued to hear great depression this and great depression that. Can we change this phrase please. I don’t want to be known as the great depression, but a depression that made us great. A depression we were able to over come and give as a nation to a country in great need.
